Foundation
Ground Screws are our preference when designing a foundation for a Structural Insulated Panel room, however after testing on the site it was found that the ground was mainly gravel... unsuitable for Ground Screws. Once the site was levelled, framed out, a cement foundation was poured.
A retaining wall was then built to ensure the soil banks left over from the excavation of the site were secure.

Build Commences
SIPs panel kit arrives and is brought onto site and stored ready to use. A fully insulated floor is then laid ready for the walls to slot into place. All panels are designed to size to fit the windows and doors. Our window aperture's were designed to frame the mature garden outside.
